      The Aloka SSD 202 which was first reported 2D ultrasound device in Mongolia.

      With the start of using the ALOKA SSD 226 device, it has begun extensive work in the field of medical practice in our country.

      Since we started ultrasound training in 1986, we have assisted in the development of ultrasound skills for doctors. Those are our trainees of first ultrasound course.

      Mongolian Ultrasound Training and Research Affiliate Center of the Jefferson Ultrasound Radiology Education Institute was established in July, 1999

      During The 13th Congress of the WFUMB, the Mongolian Society of Ultrasound approved by members of WFUMB and AFSUMB.

      We were very proud that Ulaanbaatar Mongolia was selected as the city of WFUMB 2008 Workshop, which was held at The First State Hospital from July 24 to July 26

  • 2010-2018

    1. 2010

      The 8th AFSUMB Education Workshop has completed successfully in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia in August 2010, with 183 participants from 5 countries. Furthermore, Education Programm gave helpful information to all participants and young doctors who will lead the future of Ultrasound Medicine.

    2. 2013

      In July 2013, MSDU, together with the World Federation of Societies of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology founded the Center of Education of WFUMB in Mongolia and successfully organized the 1st Workshop of WFUMB COE Mongolia.
